Aisling Bea

Aisling is a well-known Irish comedian who has been around for some time. Her birthplace was in Kildare Ireland on the 16th of March 1984. She has been seen on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) more popularly known as Aisling Bea, is an Irish actress writer and comedian. Following appearances in bits in a variety of Irish and British television shows since 2009 Bea was able to begin her professional career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. After 2012 she had been performing in sketch comedy shows or sitcoms as well as other similar programs. After her victory during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for a variety of panel show. She was captain of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016 to 2017 and was an ongoing contestant on its spinoff show, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her younger sister. She was the only female to win So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. Bea is her name to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born March 16, 1984, in Kildare Town in County Kildare. Her father Brian was a veterinarian for horses who died by suicide when she was just three years old. But, she was not aware of the cause of her death until 13 years later. Bea chose to stage her name Bea in honor of her father who passed away. Bea also published a 2017 article in The Guardian on her family's death experience. Bea's mom Helen was also a jockey-trainer and former pro jockey was responsible for taking care of her and Sinead. Their family was fascinated by racing meetings and horses. Bea started her journey as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However, she realized early on that the racing industry wasn't for her.
